About the speaker: Jane Gray
Jane Gray is the Executive Director of the newly formed Climate and Green Initiatives Branch within the Manitoba Government. She worked for 12 years in the Manitoba Legislature including as a Senior Policy Analyst within the Cabinet Policy Secretariat. Her work has included key involvement in developing and implementing Manitoba’s first Water Protection Act and Water Stewardship Department, Manitoba’s Climate Change Strategy and Green & Growing Strategy, formation of the cross-Canada climate change network KyotoSmart, regional and international climate partnerships as well as local sustainable land planning partnerships. She is a founding Advisory Board Member of the International Climate Group, an Advisory Board member of the International Institute for Sustainable Development and a Board Member of the newly formed multi-state Climate Registry. Her work is based on forging links between environmental sustainability and economic prosperity.
